Pumpkins Arrive for Fall

It’s mid-October already, which means it’s that time of the school year for the pumpkin patch up in the AFY Garden. Many thanks to Andronico’s Community Market on Irving and to Chuck the produce manager for donating over 140 pumpkins this year so that kindergarteners and 1st graders can pick one out next week to take home. Special thanks to parent volunteers Sophie and Seek for spending time after school to load and unload pumpkins from the store to the garden. In addition, thank you to the 5th grade students in the GLO program and Mr. Philip for stopping by to lend a hand with unloading.
