On Sunday, April 29th we had our first work day of second semester. We had a great turnout – middle schoolers, kinders through 5th graders, parents, entire families, and even an appearance by Mr. Philip our hardworking custodian. A lot was accomplished including: heavy weeding all over the upper and lower garden, cleaning of the pond, composting, supplementing the worm bin, pruning, watering, harvesting, and much more. Thank you to all the volunteers that showed up on another sunny Sunday afternoon. A special thank you to our Garden Committee Parent Coordinators Jade Moy and Julia Gourd for arranging the day and providing the tasty snacks.
