Ceramic Butterfly Fence Art

Ceramic Butterly Garden Art

Last Thursday, our 1st graders hung up their ceramic butterflies along one of the garden fences. Ms. Lu, the ceramics instructor, has been a great collaborator with our garden program and had been working with the 1st graders in the Fall to create more artwork for the garden. The butterflies were made with holes near the center for a zip tie to easily fit in. Students had the opportunity to decide where to place their butterflies and many were mounted next to friends and siblings. Thank you Ms. Lu and the 1st graders this year for donating your artwork to make our garden space cozy!

Thank you Ms. Fung and Ms. Lu for giving our kids hands-on experiences with dirt and clay. The butterflies are a great addition.
